A focus on learning to think creatively, work collaboratively and reason systematically will enhance their knowledge and understanding as they develop skills that will set the foundation for future skill development. Animation Sensation (Grade 1-3) July 18 – 29 Students in this class will polish their technology skills through the process of storytelling. Using a wide range of techniques, they will learn the basics of creating a story of their own and, through the wonders of technology, will bring their characters to life! Starting with simple script writing, storyboarding and planning, students will use animation software to learn frame-by-frame special effects. The results will be a final project that demonstrates their abilities and creativity! Stop Motion Mania (Grade 4-5) July 18 – 29 Polish your movie-making skills by learning the trade of stop motion filming. Learn to script, storyboard, build characters out of clay, design sets, record, edit and polish your final production.
