And the number one reason, which isn't explicitly stated here: the gratitude of these people, given a new home and a future, a place to work and thrive and contribute to society, will make them among the most patriotic Americans should they be allowed to come here, become a part of our nation as citizens eventually, and raise their families and many future generations here. History has shown us that when people come to America and are accepted into the fabric of our society, they make us stronger. Come on, America; we are better than the evildoers who put these refugees into this situation.
