Pouring a Bucket of Ice Water Over Your Head Won't Cure ALS

Thank you. I have not watched a single one. My ex-husband's father had ALS, and I just don't get it. What is the connection between ice and ALS? Is it that you will somehow understand how ALS freezes a person's ability to move? I'm thinking no. I live in a state undergoing the worst drought in a very long time. I really don't see how wasting water will help people who have ALS. You want to help? Donate money. Support family members of folks who have ALS.
