From Kai, if you can help: tw transphobia, abuse mention Hi friends, I'm making this post on behalf of my dear friend Monroe Yeung who needs financial support in this time in her life. After graduating from UCLA last year, she began to attend law school in SF this academic year, but took a break for mental health. Unfortunately, this meant she had to stay with her abusive transphobic parents, and she ultimately needed to leave for her own safety. She then found herself living with an abusive and controlling roommate and had to move out again on short notice, risking homelessness. Currently she is staying with some of our friends, but she still needs to be able to support herself in her transition. She has secured a full tuition scholarship to law school starting this next academic school year, but needs funding for her transition, housing and other costs in the meantime while she is trying to find a job to support herself.
