What It’s Like Parenting A Child With An Invisible Disability

While our family’s situation has always been manageable in terms of how he is out in public (except occasionally when he was VERY little, but we didn’t have a diagnosis yet), I can relate so much to the points she raises. Helping our son navigate the world according to his own unique neurology has involved a LOT of work behind the scenes. We are finally beginning to see it really pay off for him.
