Written from the point of view of someone with autism, this article makes some important assertions about the dangers of marginalization in general, and specifically about what people with autism and/or sensory issues have faced, with understandable frustration at a fad that accepts their previously "unacceptable" behaviors when neurotypical folks engage in them.
