8 Things Kids Need to Do By Themselves Before They’re 13

Being an educator, I would argue that while this is right for many kids, some of these are unrealistic at 13 when autism or other factors come into play. Many of us parents in such cases have been working on these things with our kids for YEARS and simply hope they can do them all independently by 18.
