This is an encouraging example of educators addressing Maslow (hierarchy of NEEDS) before they focus on Bloom (taxonomy of learning objectives). Humans can't learn when they're hungry, cold, frightened, exhausted, or stressed out. God bless this woman and this district and the work they're doing.
