Diane Speake Main I gotta say, I understand her anger and fear on behalf of her son, but are we really condoning physical violence by parents against children? And even more broadly, we really need to stop encouraging the media to shine a huge, bright spotlight on the negatives and the things that perpetuate stereotypes and polarization of our society, and instead demand that our media communicate more accurate images and messages, including ALL perspectives. The rule of "if it bleeds, it leads" is poisoning the very soul of our society.
