The First Question This Teacher Asks Her Students Every Day

This is why I don't want to hear about standardized testing. No Child Left Behind? How about no child left hungry, tired, homeless, dirty, scared, or otherwise victimized? We can't even ensure children have their basic needs met and we want them to pass a stupid test?
