Is Homework Helpful?: The 5 Questions Every Teacher Should Ask

#2 Have all learners been considered? -- they're not kidding when they say some students can take two or three times the expected time to complete assignments. And it's not just because they're "bottom of the pack," but thanks for that lovely labeling. It could be motor coordination and processing issues that changes to processes or modality could help mitigate. If it HAS to be done by hand, automatically multiply the expected time by three or four for my very bright child. Oh, and accept the fact that it will be WAY less effective. Period.
